The recommended schedule for the administration of the
assessment differs for each grade:
- In Kindergarten, the Tejas LEE should be administered at the middle and end
of the school year.
- In Grade 1–3, administration of the Tejas LEE section should take place at
the beginning, middle, and end of the school year to monitor progress in
reading development.
